Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine

    The Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine of Liaocheng People's Hospital consists of general respiratory ward (including two wards), respiratory intensive care unit, respiratory endoscopy room, allergic reaction room, lung function room, respiratory disease laboratory and asthma home, four characteristic outpatient clinics, pulmonary nodule clinic, allergic clinic, asthma clinic and smoking cessation clinic. It is the strongest technical force, the most advanced equipment and the largest respiratory disease diagnosis and treatment center in Liaocheng and its surrounding areas. 


    The department now has 66 open beds, about 25,000 outpatient visits per year, 3000 admissions and discharges per year. It treats a wide range of diseases, including common respiratory diseases, frequently-occurring diseases, rare diseases and critical diseases. The ward consists of two wards with multi-room, three-room, two-room and single-room. It has central air conditioning, central oxygen supply and central negative pressure suction system. There are reception rooms for subjects and storage facilities for test drugs and supplies.


    The department now has 3 chief physicians, 4 associate chief physicians, 1 master tutor, 3 doctoral candidates and more than 20 master's candidates. In recent years, the department has published more than 200 papers. Bai chunxue, professor of zhongshan hospital affiliated to fudan university, is a visiting professor in the department of Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of our hospital. He also regularly sits in the outpatient clinic of pulmonary nodules in our hospital.
